Research/Areas of Interest:

Acinetobacter baumanii belongs to the ESKAPE group of pathogens which cause most hospital acquired infections and have high rates of antibiotic resistance. I am interested in understanding how A. baumanii evolves drug resistance in the context of an in vivo infection, and how the presence or absence of an immune response affects this process.
