Research/Areas of Interest:
I am investigating how DNA double-strand breaks are fixed using alternative end joining. Specifically, my research uses a combination of genetic and biochemical assays to study how alt-EJ factors such as DNA polymerase theta and DNA ligase 3 interact to fix breaks in an error-prone manner.
