Research/Areas of Interest

Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) is currently the most common monogenic form of autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disability. I am investigating astroglial-specific changes in microRNA levels that may underlie the cellular and behavioral characteristics of FXS, while also exploring novel therapeutic approaches.
