Research/Areas of Interest:
I am interested to understand the intracellular pathogenesis of Legionella pneumophila, the causative agent of community-acquired pneumonia called Legionnaires and Pontiac fever. My research goal is inclined toward studying replication strategies employed by the bacteria during infection in macrophages.
