I leveraged data from the Global Dietary Database (GDD) to conduct a descriptive study evaluating the intake of plant-based diets at the national, regional, and global level in the pediatric population (aged 0 to 19) between 1990-2018. Sub-analyses included whether fruit and vegetable consumption differed by gender, urbanicity, degree of development of country of origin, or childhood home education attainment.
