Research/Areas of Interest:

Spore formation and germination are critical processes that contribute to the pathogenicity of Clostridioides difficile, a significant cause of hospital-acquired infections worldwide. I aim to identify different factors associated with these processes and clarify their mechanism of action. Specifically, my research is focused on characterizing novel proteins involved in C. difficile spore morphogenesis.
