Research/Areas of Interest:

I am studying the phenotypic and epigenetic changes that occur from exposure to several common environmental chemicals, particularly endocrine disruptors, and how these changes may contribute to carcinogenesis in a patient-derived, biomimetic tissue model. I also aim to characterize the effects of exposure at specific modeled developmental time points, such as constant vs. in utero vs. pubertal exposure, to understand whether intervention at a certain time point may mitigate future risk of carcinogenesis.
