Research/Areas of Interest
Genetic diversity impacts an individual’s biological response to chemical and environmental exposures, with specific variants contributing to resistance or susceptibility. I am using cell lines derived from Diversity Outbred (DO) mice as a model to replicate the genetic variation that is present in human populations, allowing for translatable and clinically relevant results. I plan to utilize high content cellular screening to identify cellular responses to toxicant exposures and determine the gene networks that link responses to genetic variation.
