Research/Areas of Interest:
My thesis project is centered around a new method developed in the Scheck Lab, tCUbE, which studies interactions within the ubiquitin-proteasome system. I am using tCUbE to look at E3 ligases and target proteins which are the result of a single E2 conjugating enzyme. I will also be using tCUbE to look at lysine linkage specificity for common E2 enzymes.
