Research/Areas of Interest:
I am working on characterizing the mitochondrial function of a mouse fibroblast cell line, that has a mutation in the tafazzin gene, to serve as a model for Barth Syndrome. Additionally, I am analyzing single nuclei transcriptomic datasets, generated from the heart tissue of patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, in order to explore potential cell-specific transcriptional patterns associated with patients that have or do not have known pathogenic sarcomere variants.
