Research/Areas of Interest:

Our research is designed to advance fundamental knowledge of placental vascular development and pathophysiology through an innovative approach that combines classic embryology techniques with bioengineering methodologies. In the long-term, we aim to use this knowledge to advance obstetric cardiovascular care by developing diagnostic tools and treatment options for placental dysfunction.
