Research/Areas of Interest:

I conduct research aimed at reducing the adverse impact of chronic health problems and health risk factors on employees and employers. I am involved in many projects that apply the Work Limitations Questionnaire (WLQ). This is a self-adminstered validated tool developed by my research group, which is used throughout the world to assess how health problems affect work performance and productivity. With my research group, I also develop intervention programs which are designed to prevent health-related employment problems and improving the employee's ability to function.
