Research/Areas of Interest
My research focuses on type 2 diabetes and the way the disease can be affected by lifestyle-based intervention. Our team is particularly interested in vitamin D and calcium homeostasis in type 2 diabetes and cardiometabolic disease. We are actively involved in clinical studies addressing the ways vitamin D impacts this disease.
