Thomas Murdy

For my first rotation, I utilized histology, neuroimaging, and computational methods to analyze if different brain oscillation states engage different groups of neurons and brain regions. At the heart of this work is how the brain gives rise to emotion and cognition, a central question that draws me to neuroscience. In the future, I hope to build upon this question using behavioral and computational neuroscience methods.
