Research/Areas of Interest:

I study the role of cholinergic interneurons in sensorimotor learning and motor variability of bird song. Since cholinergic signaling is often balanced with dopaminergic signaling in these neural pathways, these studies will help us better understand the mechanistic underpinnings of neuropathologies such as Parkinson's disease or Huntington's Disease.
