Research/Areas of Interest

My research focuses on the identification and treatment of developmental and mental health needs of children and adolescents across the health, mental health, and school sectors. I am particularly interested in the impact of guidelines and policy initiatives on youth service use and outcomes and collaborative models of care across sectors that incorporate the child and family as active participants in care. One current focus of my lab is the identification and treatment of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in primary care settings; psychotropic medication use in youth involved in the child welfare/child protective services system, the identification and treatment of developmental and mental health problems in young children ages 0-2 years receiving child welfare/child protective services.
