Three Students are Awarded AHA Predoctoral Fellowships

GSBS congratulates three PhD students from the GMCB program, all of whom were recently awarded predoctoral fellowships from the American Heart Association.

Xinru (Regina) Chen was recognized for her project "Impact of coagulation protease-activated PAR2 in dyslipidemia and inflammation in atherosclerosis". She is a student in the Kuliopulos lab.

Erin Sanders was recognized for her project "Novel Role of Endothelial Cell Stimulator of Interferon Genes (STING) in Cardiac Remodeling induced by Pressure Overload. She is a student in the Alcaide lab.

Alec Stephanian was recognized for his project "Mechanism of Ponatinib induced vascular toxicity". Alec is an MD/PhD student in the Jaffe lab.
