Robbie Goldstein, MD/PhD, 2012 to be the Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health

Robbie Goldstein, a 2012 MD/PhD graduate from GSBS and Tufts University School of Medicine, will assume his new position with the Department of Public Health on April 18. While at GSBS, he completed a PhD in Genetics under the direction of Michael Rosenblatt, MD.
Robbie has served most recently as an advisor to CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH related to public health emergency response, infectious diseases, and other matters. He earlier served as the Director of the Transgender Health Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, a program that he founded.
