Recent Alumni Share their GSBS Experience

Tufts Now recently profiled a number of 2022 Tufts graduates, including three new alumni from GSBS. 

Meet them and learn more about their experiences at our school.

Lexi Sack, GSBS22, PhD, Clinical and Translational Science

Lexi began her PhD training after completing her DVM and MPH degrees. She selected the One Health track in her program and studied zoonotic diseases.

Candice Byers, GSBS22, PhD, Genetics - JAX Track

Candice loved the support of faculty and fellow students she found at GSBS. Her research project focused on stem cells.

Ramesh Govindan, GSBS and TUSM 22, MD, PhD, Cell, Molecular & Developmental Biology

Ramesh focused on virology for his PhD and studied the spike protein of Ebola virus. When he is not busy working, he enjoys bonsai and cooking.
