Passing of Andrew Bohm, PhD
Andrew Bohm, PhD, a member of the GSBS programs in Cell, Molecular & Developmental Biology and Pharmacology & Drug Development died Monday evening, August 28 following a bicycle accident. Andrew contributed to our school in many ways. He was a valued student mentor, thesis advisor, an exceptional teacher, and an outstanding scientist. He was also a kind and generous person who could always find something positive in every circumstance.
Andrew was Associate Professor of Developmental Molecular & Chemical Biology at Tufts University School of Medicine and a valued teacher and mentor to both medical students and students in the Masters in Biomedical Sciences program at the school. He also served as the Tufts University postdoctoral officer, a position and devoted countless hours to developing programs for Tufts' postdoctoral scholars and serving as an additional mentor and support.
