Message from Your GSC - January 23, 2022

Welcome GSBS to the start of Spring 2023 Semester. We hope you all enjoyed a lovely holiday break. After hosting the welcome back BBQ, Halloween party and Holiday party, we look forward to putting on more social events this semester as well as planning relays for this summer. Keep a look out for more fun off campus events sponsored by GSC in the upcoming months.

We are excited to announce that for the 2023–2024 academic year graduate PhD students will receive a $1500 stipend increase. Program directors, Deans and GSC executive representatives all advocated for increased stipend to compensate for all PhD candidates' hard work and the increased cost of living in Boston.

Thank you to all the GSBS graduate students who filled out GSC's student health insurance survey. GSC is currently writing a letter to send to the Deans to voice the student body's concerns about our health insurance and what we want improved for next year. Look out for an email from GSC summarizing the major concerns and issues about the student health insurance and what we would like addressed for next year's health insurance.
