Message from Your GSC - December 19, 2022
Dear GSBS,
As 2022 comes to an end, it is uplifting to reflect on the many ways we have been able to return to a more pre-pandemic time at GSBS. Less than one year ago, we were still required to take weekly surveillance tests and to wear masks indoors, and it was challenging to organize in-person events. Now that COVID restrictions have been lifted, we want to thank everyone who attended any of the events hosted by GSC this semester, such as the Winter Wonderland holiday party last week! It was nice to see such a great turnout and congratulations to everyone who won a raffle prize, including:
- Abe Bayer: two $25 gift certificates to South Street Diner
- Jon Hacker: GSBS mug, thermos, and water bottle
- Theresa Harvey: GSBS notebook and pens, five pack of classes to Barry's Bootcamp, and five pack of Sam Adams Wicked Easy IPA
- Jacob Klickstein: GSBS baseball cap and twelve pack of Sam Adams Boston Lager
- Jane Liu: one month of free yoga classes at Down Under Yoga Studio
- Pandora Tirja: five pack of classes to Turnstyle
Keep an eye out for more events in the spring semester and come to try your luck at our next raffle fundraiser! One final reminder to please take a few minutes to fill out the student health insurance survey if you haven't already. It will close tomorrow! The more feedback we receive, the better chance we have of advocating for improved health insurance next year.
