Message from the GSC - December 2, 2024

Dear GSBS Community,

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with delicious food and quality time with friends and family!

On to some updates:

You may have heard about the new Experiential PhD Program currently in development. Recent discussions about its structure have raised concerns from both faculty and students. To address these, Dean Dr. Mike Chin is hosting a Town Hall meeting today, December 2, 2024, at 2 PM in MedEd 316.

You’re encouraged to attend in person or join via Zoom to share your thoughts, express concerns, and ask questions. Your feedback will guide faculty representatives in voting with the community's interests in mind as the program takes shape.

With graduation approaching for some members of our community, the GSC invites students to nominate a faculty member to serve as the commencement reader for the Class of 2025 graduation ceremony. Submit your nominations through this form.

Remember to take some time for yourself, unwind, and stay cozy as the cold weather sets in.
