GSBS congratulates Pilar Alcaide on her FASEB award
Pilar Alcaide has received an Excellence in Science Award from FASEB
Pilar Alicaide, PhD, the Director of the GSBS program in Immunology and a member of Genetics, Molecular & Cellular Biology program, has been recognized for her scientific work with the Mid-Career Investigator Award from FASEB.
The Excellence in Science Award highlights outstanding achievements by women in the biological sciences. Women scientists who demonstrate excellence and innovation in their scientific work and are also outstanding leaders and mentors are recognized with this award.
Dr. Alcaide is a member of the Department of Immunology at Tufts University School of Medicine and is the Kenneth and JoAnn G Wellner Professor.
