GSBS Congratulates Our Recipients of the Presidential Award for Civic Life

GSBS is proud of all students who step forward to engage in community service and leadership.

We are especially proud that two of our students were recognized this year with the Presidential Award for Civic Life.

Iris is a CMDB PhD student, conducting her thesis work with Mali Raman. She was recognized for work on the GSBS Anti-racism working group as well as her leadership in the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native American in Science.

Logan is a Mammalian Genetics at JAX PhD student conducting her thesis work with Jennifer Trowbridge. She was recognized for her work to support students and her community during the pandemic.
