The Faculty Award for Student Advocacy is new award. The recipient is chosen by the students and recognizes a faculty member who has proven to be a consistent advocate and source of support. Dr. Shen is a member of the Molecular Microbiology faculty at GSBS and is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Microbiology at Tufts University School of Medicine.
