Research/Areas of Interest
My research interests lie at the intersection of clinical trials, spatial analysis, and statistical modeling, with a focus on understanding and mitigating health disparities in underserved communities. My journey began in clinical roles, where I witnessed firsthand the varied disease burdens across different populations. These experiences fueled my shift from individual patient care to public health research in which I could address the well being of a whole community. My goal at Tufts is to integrate novel biostatistical methods and real-world health data to better predict disease and improve clinical trial designs. I hope to design analytical models that are representative of all peoples and accurately measure how novel drugs will perform in different populations.
