With age being one of the most prominent risk factors for many neurodegenerative disorders, I am interested in the cellular and molecular aspects of brain aging. I am developing a project utilizing mESC- and iPSC-derived cortical neurons to better understand changes in metabolic and cellular stress pathways across different genetic backgrounds.
