Research/Areas of Interest
I do not accept graduate students for thesis research.
I am an active participant in graduate education through service on thesis committees, and qualifying examination committees. I also play an active role as a teacher in program courses. My research focused on how toxins may contribute to disease pathogenesis by stimulation of the innate immune response with a particular interest in Shiga toxins.
