Research/Areas of Interest:
My research focuses on the biocompatibility and performance of dialyzers, apoptosis of leukocytes in uremia, dialysis delivery in acute kidney injury (AKI), novel extracorporeal therapies for treatment of end-stage renal disease, and most recently, the utility of genetic, plasma, and urinary markers for the study of AKI.
