Research/Areas of Interest
My work focuses on trends in the development and regulation of new pharmaceutical products including the impact of legislative and regulatory initiatives designed to speed the process of new drug development and review. I am particularly interested in the economic, legal, scientific, and political factors that contribute to the slow pace and high cost of pharmaceutical R&D, and on new models of bio/pharmaceutical innovation.
