Research/Areas of Interest:
My project explores phage mechanisms of ICP1 in estuarine environments and in their Vibrio cholerae host environment. I am also looking to identify novel lytic Vibrio phage that may also infect in both estuarine and host environments. The goal of my project is to develop an understanding of how ICP1 can be used to restrict transmission of Vibrio cholerae populations and reduce infectivity of this pathogen.
