Dean's Message - May 16, 2022
Dear GSBS Community,
May is a busy and joyous month at the University and GSBS. Our annual Graduation and Awards Reception will take place on Friday, May 20 at 3:30pm in Jaharis Courtyard. Come celebrate our graduates, honor our award winners, and enjoy a taco bar! Commencement will follow on Sunday, May 22; we look forward to congratulating our graduates and celebrating this important milestone on their journeys. This year will also see a special All-University Commencement on Sunday, May 27 for the 2020 graduates who didn’t have an in-person graduation. These events honor the achievements and resilience of our students, graduates, and alumni.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We are celebrating with a Food Tour of Chinatown on May 17. We still have space available for those who want to join us. I also was honored to be interviewed for a Tufts Now article: From Identity to Inspiration: Reflections on Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The piece spotlights a few of the many journeys that brought us to our graduate programs and careers. Let us celebrate all of our journeys, which enrich our community and deepen our culture.
