Basic Science Division MS Programs

The Basic Science Division hosts two MS programs, an MS in Pharmacology & Drug Development (PDD) and an MS in Biomedical Research (MBR). Full-time students enrolled in these two programs follow the tuition and fee schedule shown in the table below.  

Accepted students in this program are required to submit a nonrefundable $1,000 enrollment deposits which is applied to their fall semester tuition.

Students typically finance their education through self-funding, employer or government sponsorship, external scholarships, and/or public or private loans. The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) also offers a limited number of $13,000 scholarships.

Fall semester bills are due the first week of August; Spring semester bills are due the first week of December. All students, regardless of the source of their funding, must pay all outstanding charges by the due date. Students who do not pay in a timely manner will be subject to late fees, prevented from registering, and ultimately will be withdrawn from school.

Scholarship Information

Tufts GSBS automatically considers all PDD/MBR applicants for a limited number of scholarships totaling $13,000 in the first year of the program. No separate application is required. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and/or financial need and are open to all students.
