Research/Areas of Interest:
In order to uncover potential neurosteroidogenic diagnostic biological markers for neurological mood disorders like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mood depressive disorder (MDD), I am applying the use of biochemical techniques by examining several enzymes necessary for neurosteroid synthesis. Through my work, I intend to introduce innovative therapeutic targets that could change how these disorders are treated and improve the quality of life for individuals who are affected by them.
