Associate Dean's Message - June 1, 2021

The University announced new COVID-19 policies and guidance in response to Massachusetts’ lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions. I encourage everyone to review the entire e-mail that went out this morning and review the COVID-19 website. 

Please note that we will continue the once-a-week testing protocol and indoor mask requirement regardless of vaccination status. Labs and classrooms will return to full occupancy and we will resume in-person classes as able. If you have any questions regarding lab occupancy, please contact your PI. 

The Immunology and Microbiology MERGE programs will begin in person on July 1. We are planning an in person orientation for our new students in September. And the GSC is planning an in-person Relays for late July or early August. 

Finally, as you have been notified, all students are required to be vaccinated by July 1. See the Tufts Vaccine website for information on how to upload your documentation.
