Research/Areas of Interest:

XIAP (X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein) plays a pivotal role in preventing cell apoptosis by inhibiting caspases. Meanwhile, RIPK2 (receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 2) is integral to the immune response, activating pathways like NF-κB upon microbial invasion. A key cellular modification, ubiquitination, regulates protein functions by attaching ubiquitin to them. My study focuses on the relationship between XIAP and RIPK2 and the function of ubiquitination in this pathway.
