Research/Areas of Interest:
The diagnosis of Sjogren’s syndrome is challenging and additional biomarkers of the disease are needed. My research project, which also involves input from Dr. Addy Alt-Holland, Associate Professor of Endodontics, TUSDM, focuses on identifying and quantifying salivary metabolites using NMR methods to differentiate subjects with primary Sjogren’s syndrome from healthy controls.
