Research/Areas of Interest:

Heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) is a highly expressed chaperone that modulates the function and stability of hundreds of cellular client proteins. Therefore, it affects myriad of cell function. A novel role for HSP90 outside the cell has been detected. Extracellular HSP90 is discovered to be critical for tumor migration and invasion. I am studying its role in modulating extracellular matrix in tumor microenvironment to facilitate tumor invasion.
