Research/Areas of Interest:
My research investigates the role of the MMP-1/PAR1 signaling pathway in immune cells and endothelial cells, and how this is involved in heart disease, specifically, atherosclerosis and ischemic reperfusion. Part of my work assesses the role of pepducins, a novel class of small molecule inhibitors, in the clinical and laboratory settings.
