New opportunities you may have missed. Check them out!
GSBS Community –
A few unrelated announcements this week:
- On Friday you should have received an e-mail announcing the launch of TOTAL - Training Opportunities To Augment Learning (mytotalcareer.org). This venture, led by BU and in conjunction with other Boston areas schools, provides information on career training and professional development opportunities from the participating schools. As most are offered virtually, I encourage all students to register for the service and take advantage of the offerings. Clubs, faculty, or programs that have events that are open to non-GSBS students should contact Alex Israel (firstname.lastname@example.org) to have it added to the system.
- At the GSC meeting this week we discussed personal safety. While students feel that the campus itself is safe, with less people on the streets and riding the T, some students feel a bit more insecure in the city. I will be working with University Police, but in the meantime, please be aware of their SafeRide Service and let me know if you have any specific concerns.
- I will be resuming my open office hours next week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 pm. Details and the Zoom link will be in next week’s Goods.
