Associate Dean's Message - July 27, 2020
As we move into the revised Phase II research re-opening plan on Tuesday, July 28 and more of the city and state begins to reopen, I want to remind everyone to continue to be cognizant of the need to remain safe. This is to protect yourself as well as others. Some important items of note:
- Masks are required on campus and the daily check-in needs to be completed prior to coming to campus. The check-in is available online or via the Tufts Mobile App.
- As much as possible, limit your time on campus and work at home. This will de-densify campus and limit your own risk of utilizing mass transit.
- Follow the staffing plan that has been designed for each lab/floor.
- To ensure that we are addressing any issues regarding the reopening plan, you may submit any concerns via the TUSM Anonymous Reporting System. If you would like to be contacted regarding your concern, please include your name and email.
The issues and circumstances over the past few months regarding COVID and racial justice may have resulted in increased stress and anxiety for you. It is important to take time for self-care in whatever means you may find appropriate. I encourage everyone to communicate with friends, family, GSBS students, staff or faculty. Additionally, our free and confidential tele-counseling service, Talk One2One, is available to all students, regardless of their location. They can be reached at 1-800-756-3124
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am on vacation this week but will resume my Tuesday/Thursday open office hours on August 4.
