New NIA grant brings together GSBS faculty to study Alzheimer's Disease

Giuseppina Tesco, MD, PhD, and Philip Haydon, PhD, members of the Neuroscience graduate program and David Kaplan, PhD, a member of the CMDB graduate program have brought their groups together to study the way different cells in the brain in Alzheimer's disease (AD). They will use a unique bioengineered mini-brain developed in the Kaplan lab for some of their studies.
