Message from Your GSC - December 16. 2019
The Graduate Student Council is taking over for the Dans this week. We hope everyone has been surviving the snow storms (and the T) this winter. The GSC Fajitas and ‘Ritas event last week was wildly successful with a great group of people! Thanks to everyone who came out; there’s no better way to stay warm than to indulge with fajitas, guac, and drinks. We’re planning a ton of fantastic events for next semester, so keep an eye out for announcements in 2020!
As Dan mentioned in last week's Goods, Tufts has decided to remove the Sackler name from the graduate school and the medical education building. You may have already noticed the changes on our school website! If you see any broken links on the website or instances of the Sackler name that have not been changed yet, please email the Dean's office and let them know. The Dean’s office is also working hard to make new logos available for posters, business cards, and the like, so be on the lookout for those! We on GSC are grateful for all the time and effort the administration has put into making this change a success.
One more thing: the key to winning Relays is starting early (like right now). The GSC is developing this year’s rules for earning academic points that can make or break your score, and we’ll announce them in the coming months. Get pumped!
Have a wonderful winter break,
