The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is pleased to announce our very first career development course for credit: GSBS0294, Introduction to Drug Discovery (Special Topics).

The class will be held on Thursdays from 6-7:30PM for 10 weeks starting February 6th.

This course will provide a primer and advanced training in the different aspects of Drug Discovery, from target validation and lead discovery to clinical trials and FDA approvals.

It is co-directed by Dean Daniel Jay with Stefan Gross, PhD, a 2001 Molecular Microbiology alum who developed and led the highly successful short course that was the basis for GSBS0294. This course is markedly expanded beyond the short course.

You can register for GSBS0294 through SIS.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dean Jay.

For more information, see the syllabus for GSBS0294.
