First young alumni events draws strong participation and shows strong commitment to Sackler.

Dear Sackler Community,

Last Thursday, we had the first ever young alumni get-together for our school at the Catalyst in Kendall Square. This included about 25 attendees all within 15 years of graduation and included several who just defended their thesis and will march at May’s commencement. It warmed my heart to see old friends reuniting and also to see how well they have all done. They span many careers from academia to industry, from science communication to venture capital. Our mission is to help all of you identify your career passion and providing you with the tools to compete, succeed and lead in your chosen career. Speaking with our alumni provides valuable advice on how to give you what you need in your first years after graduation. Every single attendee was enthusiastic about reengaging with our school by teaching in our courses and giving mentoring and help as you explore your career directions. They are a valuable local resource here in the hub of biomedicine as we make our school a special place to do a biomedical PhD.
