Dear Sackler Community,

We are pleased to announce two non-credit short courses for the Spring term.

Introduction to Drug Discovery, led by Stefan Gross, Director of Enzymology/Biochemistry at Agios Pharmaceuticals, will take place on four Thursday evenings, March 7 – 28. Students will become familiar with the small molecule drug discovery process from target identification to development candidate declaration and will be introduced to Cheminformatics labs and conduct virtual HTS Screen.

Introduction to Teaching in Higher Education, led by Annie Soisson, EdD, Senior Associate Director, and Carie Cardamone, PhD, Associate Director, at the Tufts Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT), will take place on six Thursday evenings, April 18 – May 23, with one session online. Students will explore theories and practices of teaching in higher education and become familiar with learner-centered, inclusive teaching, effective course design principles and assessment techniques.
