Research synopsis:

My research aims to characterize the role of the adaptive immune response in non-ischemic heart failure. Using established mouse models, I am investigating how CD4+ T cells perpetuate adverse cardiac remodeling and disease. Additionally, I am interested in how conditions in the diseased heart directly affect T cell activation and effector function.
