Research synopsis: 

Previous work in the Camilli lab has shown that Vibrio cholerae isolated from the stool of an infected host is more effective at infecting a new host than is V. cholerae grown in the lab. My goal is to identify and investigate the genes responsible for this phenomenon.

Advisor:
