Information for International Applicants
The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences does not admit a specific number of international students each year, but instead weighs the applications of all applicants to select those who are the best qualified. About 13% of our PhD students and about 45% of our MS students are citizens of countries other than the United States.
International applicants follow the same application procedure as domestic students. See Required Application Documents for information.
PhD students in the Basic Science Division from outside the United States who are accepted into funded slots receive the same tuition scholarship and stipend as US citizens and permanent residents. See Financing Your Education for information.
Please note, the MD/PhD program accepts only United States citizens and permanent residents.
See information for accepted applicants, including visa information.
